Our Chandra Interiors team have done the interiors of the most famous cafes in India. If you’ve ever been to a Café Coffee Day in Bangalore, then you’ve probably seen one of our designs! We know that no matter how good something is, there’s always a way to make it even better. If you’re looking to spruce up your coffee shop but you’re not sure how, this is for you. We’ve come up with a few ideas to make your interior design more pleasing and your customer service top-notch:

1. Outside Seating

If you have a lot of space, try to add outside seating to give your customers the option of relaxing outdoors. A lot of people enjoy being out in the open air, and this gives you more space to add interesting design.

2. Free and Fast WiFi

Truth be told, this might be one of the most important function cafes should have. Everyone needs WiFi these days, and having fast, free WiFi is one way to keep people in your cafe longer.

It might even be a good idea to have a small visible sign by the cashier or window that shows you have internet available when a customer buys a cup or two.

3. Outlets everywhere

Just like with the WiFi, this is a surefire way to attract more customers and keep them in your cafe. Many students and working class people go to cafes to work, while others might just need a quick smartphone charge while having coffee. Place them nearby seats and tables to make it easier for your customers to plug in.

4. Add a Memory Wall or Reading Nook

This is perfect if your coffee shop is a student hang-out! Designate a wall or put up a giant corkboard where customers can stick photos, leave random notes for each other, and even write reviews for your coffee shop.

If this doesn’t suit your coffee shop, perhaps a reading wall is a good idea. Whether it comes in the form of infographics, word decor, or a bookshelf, having reading walls that customers can browse and even learn something from is an easy way to pique one's interest.
